You may order repeat medication up to 7 days in advance. Over extended bank holiday periods such as Christmas and New Years this is increased to 2 weeks in advance.
Patients on long-term medication and approved for repeat prescriptions can order in a number of ways:
- In person - hand in your repeat prescription request to the reception staff.
- Online - follow the link at the top of this page to order your repeat prescription. If you have not registered for our online services please telephone or visit the surgery for details of how to do so.
- By fax - to the relevant number shown on our contact page.
- By post - send us your request and we can send your prescription back to you if you provide a stamped, self-addressed envelope. (Please allow for delays in posting time at weekends and bank holidays.)
Repeat Prescriptions will not be accepted over the telephone
Please note, your pharmacy may be able to arrange collection of the prescription for you.
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
Please allow two full working days for prescriptions to be processed and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account.
